Happy birthday to the legendary Doyle Lawson. He was kind enough to play one of my mandolin builds and give me some feedback at a local festival. I’ll add that the local festival was the Bloomin’ Bluegrass Festival put on by the Bluegrass Heritage Foundation who have done so much to foster and promote bluegrass music in North Texas.
