Meet current ESL students Heidy and Julio. In this reel, they share a beautiful phrase that perfectly captures the heart of our community and the journey of so many of our neighbors.
This semester, seven past Academy graduates who first came to The Storehouse for support returned to volunteer as teachers in our ESL classes! They came as neighbors with a need. They stayed as part of our community. And then they served.

Our 2026 Summer Interns are here: Abigail Muccio, Lauren Latham, Matthew Farrell, and Nina Zucconi.
Abigail is a sophomore Architecture major at the University of Notre Dame and plans to pursue a minor in Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation. A graduate of Hebron High School in Lewisville, she enjoys traveling, reading, spending time with her dog, and discovering new coffee shops.
Lauren is a junior Speech Pathology major at the University of Texas at Dallas. During the school year, she serves as an advisor for The Storehouse's Youth Leadership Council. A graduate of Plano West Senior High School, Lauren enjoys spending time with friends, taking workout classes, exploring the outdoors, and trying new coffee shops.
Matthew is a junior at the Savannah College of Art and Design majoring in Film and Television with a focus on producing and has already produced three films. A graduate of Plano West Senior High School, he enjoys film, music, spending time with friends, and working on creative projects from his favorite coffee shops.
Nina is a sophomore Chemical Engineering major at the Colorado School of Mines and is pursuing a focus in energy. Also a graduate of Plano West Senior High School, she enjoys hiking, spending time with friends and family, and playing her instrument. In her free time, Nina can often be found running, watching a movie, or crafting.
We are excited to welcome these students to The Storehouse this summer and look forward to all they will learn, contribute, and accomplish alongside our team. Welcome to The Storehouse! 🙌🎉
