As bad as this hurricane has been for you, just know that if it had been just another 50 mi or so to the north and taking this path that I highlighted in white then your situation would be much worse than it is. So see the good in the bad. We are very fortunate that it went to the South. There is way less of a population in that pathway also.

Just in case you're wondering what the conditions are like for Hurricane Milton. As a matter of fact, I feel like the winds are even worse right now. And it is hard to believe that since the eye of the storm has already passed and we are on the far northwest side of it. I'm sitting in my front driveway in the FJ and there have been some seriously strong gusts that have shaken the whole vehicle pretty violently.

Next time you hear somebody that has polybutylene plumbing in their home and they tell you that the home has been there for 30 plus years and never had a problem show them this video.

I have seen far more plumbing supply line leaks associated with polybutylene than any other type of plumbing material.
