đą Panic attacks can be scary and confusing.
đŹ You might be wondering whatâs happening when you feel like youâre losing control.
đĽ A panic attack is when you feel intense fear or discomfort in your body and mind. You might feel like youâre having a heart attack, or that something bad is going to happen.
âď¸ You might have physical symptoms like a racing heart, sweating, shaking, or feeling like you canât breathe. You might also have mental symptoms, like feeling overwhelmed, terrified, or like youâre going important to know that panic attacks are not dangerous.
âď¸ They might feel scary, but they wonât hurt you. Itâs also important to know that youâre not alone. Many people experience panic attacks, and there are ways to manage them.
â¤ď¸ If youâre having panic attacks, talk to someone you trust about it. This could be a family member, a friend, or a mental health professional. They can help you find ways to cope with the panic and manage it. It can also help to focus on something else when youâre feeling overwhelmed. Take a few deep breaths, listen to calming music, or take a walk to help distract yourself.
