THANK YOU!! After the post talking about how we could use some new stuff to aid in maintaining the trails some trail users came through big time. Thank you to the following people: Michael Diederich and A. Carson who each bought us a chainsaw carry bag! Thank you to Christy Swearingen who bought us a chainsaw chain, and chain sharpening kit, and thank you to David Heller who bought us a pair of work gloves and a chainsaw chain!!! We can't tell you how much we appreciate your generosity and support of our efforts out at the trails!

Last weekend we posted an amazon wish list of items our volunteer trail stewards could use to help maintain the trails. This morning we received our first donation from the list. Some gloves and chainsaw wedges! Thank you Les...we are very grateful!!! We still have several items on the list we still need. (amazon link below)

Also last weekend we cleared out several large trees that had fallen, most on Sasquatch Crossing. (some photos attached) While riding out there later that day I counted 65 fallen trees cut out of a 0.75 mile stretch over the last 7 years. If you extrapolate those numbers to the whole trail system that is around 600 fallen trees removed from the trails in the last 7 years. That is a significant amount of time our volunteers have spent keeping the trails passable. As you gear up for holiday shopping, consider getting us something off our amazon list linked below.
