Duo Concert: Jumi Kim, soprano, and Yo Oh, tenor, present an afternoon of fine music, spanning art songs, Korean folksong, opera, popular music, and duets. Their soaring, resonant voices meld exquisitely on Purcell’s “Sound the Trumpet”, and equally on “All I Ask of You” (Phantom of the Opera).
Yo Oh’s tenor voice has been compared to Pavarotti when singing the passionate art songs of Francesco Paolo Tosti.
