🐶 Maverick is a handsome male German Shepherd who is looking for a new best friend to take long walks and play ball with! German Shepherds are smart, fun, loyal dogs who bond closely with their favorite humans. Maverick would prefer to be your one and only canine companion, though. Because he is a large dog with a confident personality, he would be best suited for a home with a large dog experience and no small children. He was brought to our shelter on 6/20/26 after being found in unincorporated Hayward. He has been vaccinated and will be neutered and micro-chipped before going to his new home.
