THANK YOU FOR THE BIRTHDAY WISHES!!!! I celebrated my 58th year of being yesterday in Palo Alto, Los Altos & San Francisco. I’ve been through a lot physically and emotionally in this past year (4 surgeries in 5 months and 2 hospitalizations plus my best veg friend of 10 years recently and unexpectedly saying “I wasn’t on their spiritual plane and they didn’t want to be my friend anymore” which hurt me so much…..even more than the physical. I am an empath and a highly sensitive person so I feel deeply.
I celebrated yesterday with delicious food and with people who love this quirky weirdo and I walked over 5 miles (I couldn’t even stand, get up on my own, walk or barely even move seven months ago)!
I Kaiser Union City and Kaiser San Leandro staff last week and provided professional therapeutic services to clients in 5 care facilities. On Friday, I’m Kaiser Fremont staff.
I am grateful the surgeons were able to save my stomach and stop the internal bleeding, and that all the diseased tissue is now out of my body! I have a few age spots and a few more gray hairs and a few more wrinkles, but I MADE IT and I weigh a lot less too!
I still feel I emanate joy, and I am worth friendship and love. I only want to give my friendship and love to those who want it and those who deserve it. After going through all this, I have a new perspective!
My spirituality is based on loving God and sharing the joys of veg with others and helping my disabled and disadvantaged clients to find joy….NOT on The Secret or The Celestine Prophecy. I’m not about veg cliques, bullying, exclusion or petty BS. I know I’m not everyone’s “cup of tea” but I’m grateful for people that like Matcha. LOL

Just wanted to wish everyone happy holidays while I can because I’m being driven to my 4th & final surgery (4 surgeries in 5 months). This will be the most difficult of all the procedures and I’ll be on the operating table for about 7 hours. I am anxious about this one. It’s been a rough journey, but seeing the forest for the trees is what keeps me going. Posting now because I won’t be able to do too much afterwards (and for a while). It will be tough.
Grateful for supportive & caring friends and family and for finally getting all the diseased fibrotic tissue out of me. Also grateful for the surgeons and Hematologist that saved my stomach, stopped my internal bleeding and anemia and repaired my esophagus & Type 4 hernia .
I’m healing well from the other 3 surgeries but just very tired from all the infusions, treatments, medical appointments, labs, etc.. Next year, at this time, I’ll be a new woman and totally renewed. Eating a Whole Foods Plant-Based and doing all the medical protocols and practicing gratitude is keeping me going. I’ll admit, I’ve had some sad moments, but, mark my words: I’m going to be even better and stronger at the end of all this so I can vegucate and help more people.
Love & Hugs
