Hedgehog cacti are densely covered in spines that make them resemble hedgehogs. They have cup-shaped flowers that don't close up at night. Hedgehog cacti like sunny, warm areas and, as they are sensitive to moisture, they should be watered from the bottom.

Did you know that the blooms of some flowers are edible? Nasturtiums, for example, have a mild, peppery flavor. In contrast, the pansy has a quite mild flavor that ranges in taste from sweet to tart.
