Yasuke had a broken and cracked fang pulled today, and entropion surgery done. He's got another couple weeks of rehab, meds and a cone before the stitches come out. (Pic is pre surgery.)
Fortunately the mange is cleared up. Hopefully he starts feeling better soon. Poor little dude.

This is Yasuke. He looks A LOT like Ninja (also currently in rehab). He showed up a little over a week ago. Tux & Tortellini tried to run him off because he has mange. We got him fixed at the vet, and got him started on mange treatment. I have also been trying to get ointment in his eyes, because they didn't look great. Fortunately the mange was in very early stages.

He's only tossed his cage twice so far. He's definitely not having fun, but he's feeling and looking better. It's easier and cheaper to treat this with injectable ivermectin, but Big Pharma pays the government to make that increasingly difficult. (This might be getting better soon.)

There is another cat I was calling Yasuke and I thought this was him when I caught him. It's not, so I'll probably call the other one Shinobi because I never caught the cat who I was calling that a few years ago.
