On May 26th the crew on the Tyman, captained by Chuck Many, was fishing offshore Monmouth County, New Jersey and had the opportunity to deploy another satellite tag on a beautiful 48 lb. Striped bass. Captain Clint Lessard of ShoNuff fishing fought the 49” fish for almost 10 minutes before landing it and attaching the satellite tracker. Bob Bowden and Gregory Lessard were also aboard assisting with the deployment. The tag is another step in the Northeast Striped Bass study and should yield results in the next 5 months. Way to go team.

Two Strike 35’s filled with the crews at Crocodile Bay , a number of roosterfish tagged with GFR tags and at the last hour our candidate was identified. After a boat to boat transfer the microPAT satellite tag was deployed.
