Disneyland really is the happiest place on earth—but somehow it’s even better when I’m there with you.

This weekend was everything: wandering through all the sights, reliving the classics, chasing the thrill rides (or at least attempting to), and making it our mission to try as much food as possible.

Still laughing that one of the biggest highlights ended up being baked potatoes—one loaded, one pizza-style—and both absolutely worth it. And that pineapple limeade with a watermelon popsicle? I’m going to be thinking about that for a while. Getting to share Napa Rose with you made it all feel a little extra special, too.

I’m sorry your back had to battle the Matterhorn—but I hope Big Thunder made up for it now that it’s finally open again.

I love you so much. Whether we’re off on little adventures like this or just curled up at home doing nothing at all, you’re my favorite part of it every time. I can’t wait for all the memories we haven’t made yet. ❤️

Monica, I'm not sure how to put into words how much you have meant to me in the nearly 19 years I've had the honor of calling you my cat. Through all of life's ups and downs you've been there as a sweet and fluffy presence. Really all I have is, Thank You. Rest peacefully, sweet princess. You can play with your sister again.
