Hey everyone, I just got off the phone with Adam Bernbaum and congratulated him on a well-ran campaign and victory in our race to be your next state representative. While there are slightly over 11,000 votes left to count across three counties, the margin of 8,250 votes is simply too great, given each candidate's level of support in the three respective counties (e.g. Jefferson County has 4800 ballots left, but Adam is winning that county at over 70%). Although I expect our margin will narrow some, the math leaves no realistic pathway to victory. While votes will certainly continue to be counted, I think recognizing when the path has closed is okay and healthy.
I want to thank each and every single person who volunteered for me, put up signs, contributed, and fought the good fight. Unfortunately, this was not our time. I also want to thank Adam for a civil, good-spirited campaign where we were not afraid to disagree but remained focused on the issues and the District.
I especially want to thank my wife, Arielle who not only gave me her full support but has singlehandedly carried our family and home through the campaign. Im blessed by her and our daughter and I look forward to spending more time with them. I couldn't have done this race without her.
Finally, I want to thank every voter who heard me out, talked with me, shared their lives, and supported me. You made me enjoy this campaign and I wont forget our times on doorsteps or forums together.
I tried my best and any faults in the campaign or strategy we ran are mine alone. You joined me in the fight for a better Washington and I thank you for it.
God bless you, our state, and our nation. Please join me in praying for Representative-elect Bernbaum that God grant him wisdom and insight as he serves us in Olympia for the next two years.
Today is the day to vote for keeping more of your hard earned paycheck. For better opportunities for our kids and grandkids. For a restoration of commonsense and balance in Olympia. No matter the national insanity, how you feel about either presidential candidate, or even your normal political party, when you start selecting governor on down to my race, think about where Washington is and do you want more of the same. Today let's go out there and vote for a Better Washington. www.robersonforwa.com

Losing political signs to wind is one thing. Losing signs to vandals while cars are passing is completely another thing. They bent sign fence post rails and cut the small metal stands to the smaller yard signs they tore out. Fortunately I had some repair supplies and could repair some signs to some degree, at least the ones I could find. Sign vandals across the political spectrum suck. Judging the lack of damage to the bottom of the hill, looks like whoever it was ran off before completely destroying them.

Last legislative session, Democrats came close to passing legislation allowing local governments to triple property taxes without allowing voters to weigh in. Matt's opponent pledged at a forum in mid-October to raise this legislation from the grave which would take more $ out of your pocket. Isn't your family taxed enough? Higher property taxes are on the ballot. Be sure to vote by 11/5 or you may face a scary surprise in 2025.
