Cytauxzoonosis or Bobcat Fever has recently made its way to the news. It is an infectious disease transmitted by ticks to felines, including domestic cats. Symptoms include depression, lethargy, and lack of appetite. Treatment includes antibiotics and supportive care but prevention is best. Use flea and tick prevention year round and especially if your cat goes outside at all.

🐾 Vet Camp Day 5 🐾 Yesterday we wrapped up Vet Camp. Campers learned about first aid and CPR. They also learned how about bandaging. Special thanks Quad Cities Search and Rescue for speaking with us and demonstrating their skills!
