Lakeside Cemetery. Lakeside Cemetery was established in 1877 for the purpose of consolidating all public burial grounds into a single location. Clair County.

As a reminder, winter decorations in Lakeside Cemetery must be removed from cemetery plots by March 31. Families with loved ones in the cemetery should remove winter decorations and other non-conforming items prior to this date. Items left behind will be removed and disposed of without further notice beginning April 1.
Also as a reminder, only patriotic flags and flowers are permitted on grave sites. No other items are allowed on sites. Visit the City's website at www.porthuron.org to review a complete copy of the cemetery rules.
