We are back !!! Had a great little vacation!!!

We want to take a moment to thank everyone for the overwhelming support and understanding we’ve received these past few days. ❤️
As many of you know, our small business—along with several others in downtown Pharr—has been deeply affected by the unexpected street closures surrounding the Avocado Festival. While we support community events that bring people together, we were not informed that all surrounding streets and access points to our restaurant would be closed beginning Wednesday, October 8 at 6 PM—three full days before the event even begins on Saturday at 2 PM.
This lack of notice (of the closures happening 3 days before the day of the event) has forced us to close our doors for four days, impacting not only our family business but also our employees and loyal customers. To make matters worse, those of us who could still access the area were required to park several blocks away, making it nearly impossible for our staff and customers to reach us safely and conveniently.
We truly love our city and the people who make it special. Our goal in speaking out—both here and through local news—is to advocate for better communication and consideration for the small businesses that bring life to downtown year-round.
We hope that by raising awareness, future events can be planned in a way that celebrates our community without hurting the small businesses that are the heart of it. 💛
