Today, we'll be sharing 4 guest success stories with you as today is the Kitsap Great Give.

David's story is the first.

In February 2025, Kitsap Rescue Mission had the privilege of meeting David.

During his time with us, he showed nothing but patience and kindness to everyone around him.

In November 2025, we celebrated his success as he moved into his new home with the support of Pendleton Place. Congratulations, David — we wish you all the very best in this next chapter!

Please give David a "thumbs up" or a positive comment for his success!

A special thank-you to Destiny Colon, his Housing Navigator, and Jeff Sanders, his Case Manager, for their dedication and support along the way.

You can be a part of someone's success story at Kitsap Rescue Mission by donating today through the Kitsap Great Give.

Do you love the Kitsap Great Give? If you are not familiar with the event, it is a one day online giving event that helps registered nonprofit organizations in Kitsap and Mason counties raise funds for their causes. The Kitsap Community Foundation hosts the event annually.

TOMORROW, March 1st, early giving begins. The official event date is Tuesday, March 10th.

Kitsap Rescue Mission's fundraising goal for this event in 2025 is $15,000.00.

Since 2009, we have been assisting people experiencing homelessness in Kitsap County.

In 2025, through the support of our services, 72 people successfully transitioned from homelessness to safe, affordable, permanent housing. Our programs work.

We love our community and donors that support Kitsap Rescue Mission. Your support makes success stories possible.

We'd love your financial contribution so we may continue this life saving work right here in Kitsap County!

Stay tuned for links and more information coming soon right here!
