Ripple headhunts the best specialist from Google

Ripple has convinced the leading manager at Google to leave the tech giant and enter the world of blockchain.

Amir Sarhangi, who was responsible for wireless messaging system RCS at Google, was hired to hold a position of a new vice president of products at Ripple.

“Sarhangi joined Google after the company had bought his startup Jibe Mobile in 2015. The standard is seen as a successor to SMS texting as it handles multimedia and commercial messages, such as receipts and airline boarding passes, over cell networks,” says the press-release.

Sarhangi will develop Ripple on its way to the extension of RippleNet, a network of banks and financial institutions using Ripple technology for cross-border payments.

Apart from that, the digital asset XRP has recently been added on two new cryptoexchanges.
