Nomadic In Nature

🐊 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 is too many alligators? Asking for a friend. 😅

We hiked the 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗽 at 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗕 𝗕𝗮𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 expecting wildlife... 🌿

Let's just say the 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 understood the assignment. 👀🐊

At one point, it felt less like a hiking trail and more like a neighborhood watch meeting for reptiles. 😂

🐢 The turtles were sunbathing.

🦅 The birds were putting on a show.

🐊 The alligators were reminding us whose trail it really is.

🌿 𝗗𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆'𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀? 💚

🌅 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗴’𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴? Get there 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻. The water is quieter, the crowds are smaller, and the wildlife is everywhere.

🦌 During our paddle, we spotted 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗿 along the shoreline, a 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘆, playful 𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀, Florida native birds, and fish swimming through the 𝗰𝗿𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹-𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿. It honestly felt like we had the river all to ourselves.

🚣‍♀️ Whether you rent a kayak or bring your own, paddling through the 𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗱 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 feels like stepping into another world.

✨ Mornings like this are a reminder to 𝘀𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻, put the phone away, and enjoy the simple things.

💚 This was our 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁, and it was just as 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 as the first. Easily one of our 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 places to spend a peaceful morning.
