We get a lot of messages about health and wellness. We're told that we must exercise in a certain way or eat specific foods. However, what if it's not a MUST? What if it's a MAY? We MAY complete a certain set of reps, or hold a position for x-number of minutes. We MAY also move our bodies in ways that feel good to us. Running feels great to a lot of people. And also, a lot of folks aren't interested in the same repetitive movement, so dancing or playing with their kids is a better way to get their heart pumping. As the expert of your body, do what feels good to you. Challenge yourself when ready, and rest when needed.
