Folk tales of dark fae often feature malevolent or cruel creatures, a departure from more benevolent or neutral fey. These tales stem from ancient conflicts, like the war between mortals and early Fae that drove them underground, and from malicious entities like the bogart, an evil version of a helpful brownie. Modern interpretations frequently portray them as embodying chaos and independence, sometimes involving conflict, dark magic, or dangerous romantic entanglements.

🧚♂️the trail of fairy dust ✨
🧚♀️tiny flickers of light 💡
🧚♂️butterfly at your window 🦋
🧚♀️gentle beeeze in a still room 🍃
🧚♂️mysterious giggling that comes out of thin air ☺️
