Last night in downtown Providence with was something else!

The moment I showed up and started seeing all my friends, I knew this was going to be a good show. The Boston crew was out, the rig was hitting, and the haze was cooperating for maximum lasers 🔫 the lighting rig was heavy on blinders and washes, with a unique wave shape that allowed for some amazing symmetrical chases, while geometric white overhead coverings made a perfect backdrop for gobos and textures from the moving heads

This was such a fun project; as soon as I looked at the woods at I knew what needed to be done! The first night I stuck to only "standard" laser looks to preserve the magic, then on night 2 I went to work 👷🏻

The timing was tight since I was using 3 10W to do the mapping. There was only about an hour where it was dark enough to see the beams, but bright enough to see the trees (and also hopefully bright enough most people wouldn't notice what I was doing!)

Night 3 I dialed in and added some more trees to the look, made some new effects, and had some fun walking around and taking in the looks. I've got plenty more shots from this event that I'm sitting on so keep an eye out!
