At The Flourish Center, whole-person care includes tending to the mind, body, nervous system, relationships, and lived experiences that shape our health.
We’re grateful to have Jody L. Cecil, LPC of Taking Root Counseling as part of our community of practitioners. Jody brings more than 20 years of experience supporting adolescents, families, and adults, with a counseling approach rooted in hope, healing, relationship, and deep respect for each person’s story.
Her work integrates evidence-based, body-centered, and trauma-informed approaches, including Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, TIST, EMDR, DBT, IFS, attachment-focused therapy, and family systems work. She supports adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relational challenges, spirituality, and the deeper work of reconnecting with the whole self.
Jody believes the relationship between client and counselor is a meaningful part of the healing process, and her work reflects a compassionate, integrative approach to mind, body, and spirit.
