🔥HAPPENING NOW 🔥A cheery home on Balsam Ave feels very fitting for this Xmas Eve 🎄 If you’re out and about in Beaverton (very brave of you, especially if hitting Fred Meyer or TJ’s) pop on over to this spacious midcentury split-level, right in the heart of Cedar Hills, or tell a friend who’s searchin’ for the right amount of space in a bangin’ location 🔎
Family, friends and good music + food are what it’s all about right now, but if you want to get a read on the market in advance it can be super helpful to peep homes in winter. If what you like isn’t coming up, at least you learn what checks your boxes! Find me at Open Houses all winter to help you get prepared ☑️✍️

Here’s a little somethin’ I made for folks paying beaucoup bucks towards their landlord’s mortgage 💸 (and yes, I’m personally in that “renting and preparing to buy” stage so believe me, it’s real) 👉
The notion that “everyone should just go buy a house and not rent” is ill-informed and detached from the realities of and the current - and the truth is that many of us are not in a place to make this change. Keep doing you! Resources are waiting for these folks whenever that time does come 👌
This post IS for the people who have a consistent scope of work, keep credit solid, put money aside (or could gather some funds if asked) and ultimately are able to afford the equivalent monthly payments. If you are already making similar monthly payments and a goal of yours is to build equity, it could benefit you to see where you’re at and what your next steps would be to owning a house. Worst case is you learn what you’ll need and it’s kinda a lot. So you wait longer. Best case is you can swing it and start building wealth for yourself.
So who do you talk to?
👉 Lauren Mirecki () is one of the dynamic forces behind the team in Portland, Oregon 💡 She and her team make themselves available on weekends, provide sit-down meetings with new clients and offer resources for those concerned about outright costs, running credit or “owing” anyone. None of that! We got you.

Hope everyone is able to enjoy a good meal, good conversation and better company this week! 🍂Regardless of how you celebrate, what are you most grateful for?
I’m thankful for the hospitality of family and friends getting us through a chaotic time, and for everyone who has shown me support and coached me to be a better person. And stuffing + gravy. That too 👌
