😲: what even is that thing?!?
🧠: the siphons of piddock clams (i.e. rough piddocks); the clams itself are borrowed into the clay near this shore in Hoodsport, Washington and these siphons are extended so it can both feed and "breathe"
It has been a busy couple of months (for people and jellyfish alike)! 🪼

(to when I thought I needed to pack special bags for my first weekend of camping and ) 🏕 + 🤿
Now I know the value of:
- watertight bins (sold by e.g. Home Depot)
- big duffel-type bags (e.g. the iconic blue bag from Ikea)
- tarps, tarps, tarps

🤔 why do you see (many) wear their masks around their neck..? Well, I personally have several reasons!
✋️- to keep my hand free for carrying other things
🤿- so I don't drop/ lose it
😩- to avoid looking like the stereotypical "diver in distress"
😎- because I look cool (?)
In , hand signals are SO important!
A personal (fun) favorite if mine is the "shaka", which translates to "radical", "cool" and/ or "awesome". 🤙
If you're ever unsure whether you just found fish eggs, just wait for a protective fish parent to come and protect them from you 🐟💕
