Portland Outdoor Explorers

Although we spent our first day of summer camp indoors, the explorers did not want for things to do! While some chose quiet activities in our indoor location, many chose to let their wild bodies do their wild bodies thing and played for hours with oir fabric-wrapped balloon.
We played "mat ball" (a variant of kickball), volleyball, keepy uppy, and keep away.
The anticipated thunderstorms tomorrow don't scare us! With this many indoor options, we're ready for anything the weather throws at us!
The adventure doesn't stop there!

Today we celebrated the summer heat, the end of the school year, and the birthday of one of our explorers, with some delicious root beer (or sunkist) floats, complete with whipped cream and sprinkles! Yum!!
As we near the end of the 2025-2026 school year, we are thrilled to see how many of our explorers are graduating to new and exciting grades, schools, and more, as well as excited to meet and welcome new explorers already eager for the 2026-2027 school year and the best kids' program in Portland!
The adventure doesn't stop there!
