Oregon State Leather Contest

Welcome to Pride Month Oregon Leatherfolks!!! Leather and Kink have been a part of pride since the beginning of the Christopher Street Liberation Day March, thank you Brenda Howard(Google her if you don't know!). Leather is ingrained in the history of q***r culture and pride. Pride, however, doesn't just happen and we are being reminded continually that our safety, rights, and protection are not given. Showing up and being present is necessary for building the community we need. I service of that, we will be shouting out prides across the state throughout the summer as best we can. Presence matters and we encourage people to attend prides throughout the state(especially smaller ones), our board will be at many through the summer and we encourage folks to say hello and connect.

SOOOOO....our first shout out is to Hillsboro pride!

Hillsboro is having it's pride tomorrow from 12:00pm-5:00pm and we hope folx will show up and show out! Stay safe, have fun, and make good trouble!

We hope to see you at Hillsboro's Pride Party THIS Saturday, June 6 at Shute Park from noon to 5 pm.

New features this year include a wine garden by Explore Tualatin Valley, an activity corner & free tie-dye, balloon art, and face painting, alongside 60+ booths and food trucks!

ANNOUNCEMENT: Contestant applications for the 2026 Oregon State Leather Contest are open! That application will be open till midnight on July 19th. The application for Mr., Ms, Leather Person, Bootblack, and Pet are all on the same application and the titleholder contract is available. Any questions can be directed to [email protected]

Have you thought about running for a title? Do you know someone who you think represents a facet of leather in the state of Oregon? Are you called to community service? This could be your year to run! OR If you know someone who you think would make a good titleholder, share this with them!

If you are on the fence about running or just curious about what it means to be a titleholder, please join members of the OSLC board and titleholders at one of our “So you want to be a titleholder!” Information sessions. These will run until applications close. Please continue to look to our social media and website for dates and times for upcoming sessions.

She works hard for the money! So hard for it honey!!!!(Thanks Donna!) State bootblack Lukki working the stand at Eagle this past Sunday. She will be at Kinkfest April 3-5 keeping people’s leather looking nice. Bring your gear and stop by her stand.
