What does consent actually feel like in practice?
Not just as a policy, but as a living, relational process between facilitator and client.
This workshop invites you into the nuance.
Led by Emma Knighton, Director of Programs & Services at InnerTrek, we’ll explore how consent shows up in real time: in conversation, in touch, in boundaries, and within yourself.
You’ll leave with grounded, practical tools you can immediately bring into your facilitation work and a deeper understanding of what it means to practice with integrity.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨
New Jersey becomes the 4th U.S. state to legalize psi|ocybïn—and the 2nd to do so within a medical framework.
On Monday, January 19, 2026, Governor Phil Murphy signed legislation establishing a state-run psi|ocybïn therapy pilot program. Under the new law, a small number of hospitals will be authorized to administer psi|ocybïn to select patients as part of a two-year behavioral health study.
This program is designed to evaluate safety and effectiveness for serious mental health conditions under strict clinical supervision. It does not create public access or a commercial model—outside of the pilot, psi|ocybïn remains illegal in New Jersey.
Notably, New Jersey had already taken a step in 2021 by reducing criminal penalties for possession of small amounts of psi|ocybïn, signaling a longer arc toward reform.
This marks another meaningful milestone in the national shift toward evidence-based, regulated psychedelic care—and reinforces a growing truth: the conversation has moved from if to how.
🌱 If you want to stay informed and be part of this evolving movement, follow InnerTrek for ongoing updates, education, and insight into the future of regulated psychede|ic care.
Unlock Deep Connection: Transform Relationships With Openness
What does it mean to truly attune to another person? 🌿
As Tal Sharabi, MA, shares with InnerTrek’s Cohort 4 at Forest Refuge, attunement is more than presence. It’s bringing your full self into connection while allowing the other person to be fully themselves — and being open enough to be changed in the process.
✨ This practice is essential for trauma-informed, ethical facilitation. But it also applies to everyday relationships — with clients, loved ones, colleagues, and communities.
When we meet each other with openness and mindfulness, new possibilities unfold.
💜 If you feel called to deepen your capacity to hold this kind of space, explore facilitator training at InnerTrek.
