Are you team first look + private vows or see each other at the alter?!

There are pros to either, but ultimately it’s up to you and your partner. I don’t believe either way is “right,” but here are some things to think about if you’re on the fence between the two.

Privacy. If you’re nervous or speaking in front of people isn’t your jam, having a first look could be a good idea for you. First looks allow for you and your partner to have a private moment prior to the ceremony. You can do your vows before too! Sometimes all you need is a hug from your best friend to calm some of the nerves.

Time. Depending on your timeline, you could save time by doing your bridal and family photos prior to the ceremony. By doing photos prior to the ceremony, you get more time to enjoy cocktail hour!
