If you’re not familiar, Curious Comedy Theater is a Portland gem that’s so much more than a performance venue—it’s a comedy theater, training center, and community arts nonprofit all in one. They host improv, sketch, stand-up, and experimental comedy shows, offer classes for all experience levels, and run community programs that make comedy education more accessible.

Even more importantly, they’re committed to uplifting underrepresented voices—including LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, women, genderqueer, and economically disadvantaged artists—while building community through laughter and learning.
