You know that awful feeling when you make a giant to do list and finish virtually nothing on that list?!

I’m trying something new - inspired recent read by “Make Time” by Jake K. and John Z. - picking ONE priority for the day. I pick one thing that will make this day a win and then make a list of the additional things I could do as “bonus wins.”

Today I got home from a trip exhausted. My old M.O. was trying to unpack, do and fold laundry, clean the house, clean up the budget and many other things. Seeing the list overwhelmed me and it usually ended up taking about a week to unpack

My goal today was to empty my suitcase and for the first time in, well the history of my existence, I unpacked on the same day of a trip!

You know what I realized today? After several months of working to make my clarity consulting profitable, I realized why I work keep working at it. More specifically, I realized WHO I work so diligently for: my fellow biz owners who have important sh*t to offer the world, but their brains work a little differently. They have so many ideas but executing those gets so exhausting. Your brain starts to feel like an over-flowing filing cabinet, I know because I've been there.

I've come to see my hyper-drive all-or-nothing brain as a super power, but there are days when it gets overwhelming and downright depressing and anxiety-provoking. I'm even questioning if I should publish this post because I know it's not perfect and my brain in definitely not 100% today. But that's why I keep going, because I know I'm not the only one! You've got amazing stuff to share, my friend. Share it. Even if it's messy. The world needs your magical sh*t.
