Tri tip is such a great and underrated cut of beef. So full of flavor and so easy to make.
Here are a couple of tips for your tri...
Make sure you give it enough time to rest after you've got your desires doneness. The longer the better.
I like hitting 135° F internal temp for a nice med rare. It'll keep warming up whilst it rests after you take it off the heat.
Use the two zone method when cooking it on the grill. Blast it with the high heat, then move it to the low heat area.
