MEET THE CAPTAINS‼️📣

Sergio has been playing for the Lumberjacks since 2016! As one of our very powerful backs, you will see him on the pitch playing at scrum-half or wing, Serge is always looking to push our players to grow.

“[Through the Lumberjacks] I learned how to work with a sports team, as I had always done individual contributor sports (running, swimming, etc). It taught me discipline, how to navigate and help the team grow during uncertain times, camaraderie, and the power of friendship. [My advice for folks], it’s okay to be afraid of getting tackled, but don’t let that stop you from wanting to learn and grow”.

Going into 2026, we're committed to strengthening our bonds with our teammates and supporters, but also continuing our trajectory of growth in our club, as we make the most of celebrating our 10th year of being a club. While we had a great lil break, our fun is far from done this year, as many of us travel south to test our rugby prowess. Wish our Jacks luck on our travels!
