TradeMagic - good vs evil YA fantasy

In my TradeMagic world, where TradeCrafters ( a master in a trade with the power to infuse wares with magical abilities, who can also use mastered resources for their bidding), there’s another kind of magic wielder….

The “MagicCrafter”
aka the artists….

Here’s a snippet from Book Two where MC Anna Beck and friends dive into a discussion about them:

Benjamin pushed his glasses back in place as if doing so would let him see what Sophie had said better. “I’m telling you piano’s your craft. Whether you want to create music with magic in it is up to you—”
“You’re saying people who write music can be magic?” Sophie asked.
Benjamin held out his hands, saying nothing but scanning everyone’s faces as if he wanted to say, “Writing music, playing music…”
Sophie wasn’t the only one staring back at him with a dumbfounded expression.
“My Oma and Opa mentioned Artists before,” Tobias muttered. Then he cringed. “They didn’t seem to speak too favorably of them.”
“Sounds about right.” Benjamin huffed. “Long ago, TradeCrafters—those old enough to have trained Frau Winkler and all your grandparents—had a bit of a falling out with the more artistic kind of MagicCrafter.”
“MagicCrafter?” Anna and the kids echoed. She’d never heard of such a phrase before but Anna rather liked the name. Intrigue hung in the air between Benjamin and all the kids.
“You need to tell me everything about this, right now,” Sophie said. “Are you saying there are magical people—Artists—who can make magic with their work?”
