The first wedding of the year happened just days after the ice storm. The devastation the storm caused was unbelievable and Abernethy got hit pretty hard. The day before the wedding we were told we probably wouldn't be able to shoot in the gardens because it was too dangerous. Ugh. But...the staff at Abernethy is nothing short of amazing and to our surprise they had a lot of it cleaned up when we arrived. They gave us the green light to shoot outside so we made the best of it! There was still a lot of debris, wood piles, sideways trees, stumps, etc. around but with a little creative shooting Abernethy looks as amazing as ever.⁠

Jessica + Tyler looked amazing and had smiles on their faces all day. After everything the world threw at them they still got married and at the end of the day, that's all that matters. Congrats you two!
