Sunbreak offers many different counseling services, including play therapy, Parent Child Interaction Therapy, and Social Skills Groups. We work with children and families navigating a wide range of needs

We are excited to share that we are now offering Parent-Child Interaction Therapy at Sunbreak! Sessions will be led by Dr Daryl Hitchcock, who is a licensed psychologist, Registered Play Therapist & Supervisor, and Infant Mental Health Clinical Mentor.

PCIT is an evidence-based therapy where caregivers and children attend sessions together. It focuses first on strengthening the parent-child relationship, then moves into live coaching to help caregivers build effective behavior management skills and improve cooperation at home.
