Faerie Crafts PDX

The galaxy bouquet has finally been finished. One of my favorites so far. This is old paper, around 100 years old, so it's a bit more fragile than my other bouquets. If wanted for a wedding, I would make it in a more modern paper and mod podge to add stability for being set down repeatedly. This will be for sale at a bazaar in Oregon City this weekend at the VFW.

My version of the classic dozen red roses. Updated the greenery as it just didn't frame the flowers the right way before. Upcycled from Call of the Canyon by Zane Grey printed in 1924. Handle is jute twine woven around the handle.

This arrangement of tulips was a Valentines gift for his girl. She prefers pastels so I went for a lighter variety of colors. This was made from Ingmar Bergman's Wild Strawberries printed in 1960.

Dark blue with purple highlights. Each flower consists of individual petals, handcut and dyed. Between cutting, dyeing and gluing, each flower can take upwards of 2 hours to complete. This also means that each flower is guaranteed unique, making a full bouquet truly one of a kind. Look for the full bouquet soon.
