Offbeatquilts
I make a lot of things. I love to make offbeat quilts and for fun I sometimes share the pattern so you can make one too.

Finished, washed, bound, and full of heart. 🍅🥫✨
This soup can quilt started a few months ago during an art project with a 3rd grade class while they were learning about Andy Warhol and pop art. Every student was given the same basic materials, and every single can came back completely unique — loud, funny, sweet, weird, thoughtful, and absolutely full of personality. Honestly, it feels like the best reminder that creativity refuses to stay inside neat little lines.
I stitched all of their cans together into one giant community quilt and finally finished it this afternoon. Washed and crinkled just right, with all those soft quilted textures and raw edge details doing exactly what I hoped they would. The back is a dreamy vintage blue rose sheet that feels like it was always meant for this quilt. 💙
Tomorrow it heads back to school with the kids to have on display gorgeous the rest of the school year.
Art matters. Kids’ voices matter. Making things together matters.
