Midtowners Market has always been more than a shop to us. It’s a community space built around local artists, vintage lovers, collectors, and small creators who make Portland special. ❤️

But the last month has hit us hard.

In early April, our storefront windows were vandalized. Just two weeks later, we experienced a break-in. Between repairs, damage, and unexpected costs, we’re now facing expenses that could genuinely threaten the future of our store.

We believed we’d have help covering the window replacements while reimbursement through Prosper Portland was processed, but that changed suddenly, and we’re now being asked to cover those costs ourselves before any reimbursement is confirmed.

As a small business operating on thin margins, we can’t do this alone.
