Here’s the Pink Lighting cut of “You Might Be Right.” Almost went with this version. Directed by Sam Higginson, with some lighting bolts by , and edited by Neil, the track was produced by , recorded and mixed by Gary Jarman , and released on limited blue 7” and limited red 12” vinyl by Jealous Butcher Records.

Had a long talk with Al Melchior for his podcast “You, Me & an Album” about the 2001 compilation CD Nigeria 70: Funky Lagos. And the episode is out now! Link in bio. It’s a wide-ranging, discursive conversation rife with historical inaccuracies and entertaining “facts” about Nirgeria in the 70’s (I read some wikipedia pages the morning we did the interview), which nevertheless is full of real love and passion for this album. One of the best compilations ever, in my book. Thanks Al!
