What a weekend! I had a great time at the Burnside Bridge centennial party.
Friends, community, vendors and views! The weather was perfect too. Days like this are one of the many reasons why I love living in Portland!

Proud to stand with the Nurses at Good Samaritan hospital in Puyallup as they fight for a fair contract.
Their fight for safe staffing, equal treatment regardless of race or physical ability & job security have forced them to the picket line.
MultiCare is even pushing back on proposals that cost little or no money. These nurses have literally put their health and safety on the line for this hospital. The amount of disrespect being shown to these healthcare workers is truly staggering.
I hope MultiCare comes to its senses and begins to take contract bargaining seriously.
I submitted a letter to the editor of the Oregonian in support of Dr. Tammy Carpenter 2 weeks before the Democratic Party Primary election.
The Oregonian declined to publish it.

Tammy went from being down by nearly 300 votes at the start of Election Night to being down by 57 at the end of the night.
Hundreds of votes are yet to be counted….
This has the potential to be a race decided by single digits! 😬
