The early spring market is just starting to get spicy - this 1912 Portland Craftsman was listed for $765,000 and managed to garner 5 offers its first weekend on the market, which isn’t a shock considering it was probably one of the best examples of good bones for this era of house I had ever seen. It had the perfect mix of original charm, meticulous millwork, and dated albeit livable finishes making it the perfect opportunity to add equity with cosmetic improvements! Its layout was flawless with lots of natural light with the E/W facing axis…I guess it was really my first true house crush of 2026, and I’m not upset about it.
