June Fitzpatrick Gallery is an independent art space housed at the Maine College of Art. Located at 522 Congess St., Portland, Maine.

This month the focus is on the designers and makers in Lewiston /Auburn, from the traditional weaving mills and shoe manufacturers to the newer wave of young design entrepreneurs working from their studios. It's an intriguing glimpse into the changing face of a traditionally blue collar community that drew thousands of workers from Canada and now attracts edgy young designers producing high end fashion accessories.
