Since opening our doors, we’ve been inspired by the guests, neighbors, and all the moments that have brought our spaces to life. To celebrate this milestone, we’re honoring Portland’s literary spirit with our annual Haiku Contest.

Throughout the month of May, hotel guests are invited to submit a haiku inspired by their stay. At the end of the month, we’ll share our finalists and invite you to vote for your favorite.

Here’s to two years of hospitality, poetry, and the stories still to come.

For Seaweed Week (April 24–May 3), we’re serving Oysters + Nori Mignonette: six local oysters, chilled and dressed in our housemade mignonette with nori, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, shallots, cucumber, and sesame seeds.

Seaweed Week celebrates one of Maine’s most abundant coastal ingredients, bringing harvesters, chefs, and curious diners together from ocean to table, and we’re thrilled to be part of it alongside our friends across the city.
