✨CELEBRATING 5 YEARS OF EASTON BROAD✨
It’s hard to put an opening date on a business when you start just before a global pandemic hits and the government shuts you down before you’re even allowed to open. So we claim the entire month of March as our anniversary, because dammit, we’ve earned it 💪
And if you want to know the short version of what it’s like opening an event space - a place where people are meant to gather together - just as the world is quarantined and isolated... Well, keep reading.
2020- After 3 months of negotiations and contracts, we were finally moving forward with my longtime dream of owning a venue...while c0vid took over the news. Truth be told, we almost cancelled our first (very large) check and walked away. But I’m a tenacious little firecracker, so obviously that didn’t happen 😄
With a project on our hands and nothing but time, we got to work clearing out tons of furniture from the previous owners, building a new bar, and getting down on our hands & knees to make what was a dingy space, sparkling new.
We hosted one single wedding for 7 people, only due to wildfires forcing them indoors (thanks ). We pivoted to hosting pop up markets, because we felt that other small businesses needed support. With an empty venue and no gatherings taking place, we had to do something worthwhile.
2021- We were fortunate enough to host a few intimate weddings, but events still weren’t taking place at the scale we wanted. We weren’t eligible for any grants, PPP, or other resources that became available, so life was looking grim. But with a glimmer of hope, we turned to creative outlets and collaborated with many of our vendor friends, new and old. Photo shoots were our best friend in creating marketing materials and brand awareness.
2022- The government loosened their threshold on people coming together, and boy, were people ready to party! Watching our industry rebound while we grew our brand was bittersweet, because we had lost so many businesses that we once loved.
2023- Three years in, we finally hosted our grand opening celebration, and I’m still in awe at how many people came out to support us 🥹 This is what I consider our first "real" year in business, and thankfully, was our biggest year of growth with nonprofit and corporate events creeping back to life.
2024- We were voted Portland's best wedding venue?! Absolutely speechless 🥰 However, election years are notoriously slower in the events industry, but thanks to our incredible clients, we continued to power through.
And today, three months into 2025, we are beyond grateful for every single person who has supported our journey. They say you're never prepared for your first child, but holy sh*t have you tried opening a business?! Nothing will ever prepare you for the emotions, financial hardship, mental instability, and the pride & joy you will feel knowing you've created something all your own.
So here's to fighting for everything you love, and supporting the local community and small businesses, forever and always 💚
THANK YOU!

Did you know we offer FREE rental coordination for all of our clients?
Yup, that’s right. We’ll work with you to design the perfect lounge grouping or tablescape, and make sure your caterers are setup for success with all the equipment they might need. Staging? Tents? We know the ropes!
We work with multiple companies across the Portland metro, depending on what you’re looking for and your budget. We know who has what, and even some hidden gems when you just can’t find that one thing.
We’ll schedule showroom appointments and walk you through all sorts of options and questions you might not even think of…Sort of like a wedding or event planner.
Did we mention this is a FREE service we currently offer? 🤑
Should we start offering full design services?
