Small business appreciation post:
People ask me a lot, “where’s the best place to get….?” - when they ask me about the best chicken in town, I always say . These fine folks raise the best tasting chicken around on their beautiful little farm, near Beaverton. Every couple months I head out there, bring the boys, let them run around with the animals and pickup 4 or 5 chickens. I then freeze them in my garage and thaw them as needed (making sure to keep the bones each time to make stock - they will throw in the chicken feet separately to make the stock even better). Well, this place has been my little secret for the past year or so but now they are able to take on more orders and are hosting a little farm party next month, where you can bring your kids, play with the goats and sheep and birds, and pickup your (preordered) delicious chickens and eggs. Do yourself favor and place an order for some of these outstanding birds and come to their party next month - see for yourself what truly natural, free range, farm raised chickens and eggs taste like :)
