Steady Birth

In October, I took a pause from births so I could recharge and recalibrate with my young family.

This morning, I had the honor of going to a beautiful birth, and oh man, does it feel good to be back.

This is the most special, magical, hard work, and I feel the most lucky. ✨

I’m teaching lots of childbirth ed these days both privately and and I get pretty jazzed when talking about movement in labor (even with an epidural!). So, I had to get a pelvis! It’s so much more dynamic than most people think.

I believe that these feelings are accessible when you have the right team around you. When you feel educated in your options. When space is held ... to feel safe, to feel powerful, to feel the most vulnerable, to be held in love. And that looks so different for each person. I hope to honor that space, to keep it ... steady. 💛
