We're inviting you to join us: Zen & Mindfulness — Japan Wellness Retreat. November 9 - 14,2026

There is a specific kind of stillness found in the healing waters of Izu and the sacred foothills of Mt. Fuji. 🗻♨️

It is a quietness that doesn’t just silence the noise—it invites you to listen to your inner self.

For months, we have been quietly dreaming and curating a journey that goes beyond traditional travel.

The Essence

Our 6-day immersion explores the timeless concepts that define the Japanese way of living:

✨ 一期一会 (Ichigo Ichie) | Being fully present in this unique moment.
✨ 侘び寂び (Wabi Sabi) | Finding beauty in the imperfect and the transient.
✨ 温故知新 (Onko Chishin) | Gaining new insights by revisiting ancient wisdom.

From morning Zazen with a monk to the meditative ritual of matcha in Shizuoka’s tea fields, we invite you to step out of the "to-do" list and into the presence of the present.

Need more space in your life? In your body?

Try slowing down.

In our technology-based modern world, people are always pushing our bodies to catch up. And I know how speed affects our bodies. Our bodies function by nature's rhythm, which is based on the sun passing through sky, the moon at night, and the earth orbiting around the sun to change seasons.

It might seem counterintuitive, but "Isogaba maware" (急がば回れ), the Japanese proverb meaning "If you want to reach fast, take the long way," teaches us that taking our time can actually create more room for focus, clarity, and genuine progress.

For the past couple of years, I've stopped multitasking. I've been a queen of multitasking and I still struggle with it. I like to work, I want to be busy, and I'm simply impatient to not get things done.

But when I rush through things, my body tells me to slow down by giving me signals. For my body, it's the stomach aches, brain fog, fatigue in the afternoon, and pain in my wrists, neck, and shoulders.

I'm seeing the world changing with new technologies like AI. I'm certain that the world will be moving faster than ever. And the only thing we have in control is how we spend our time. We must become more aware and intentional about how we use our time to live more peacefully and mindfully.
