SENIOR SUNDAY!
Eleanor
Eleanor began dancing with CBA at age 10 and has cherished having the studio as her second home. She is grateful for the opportunity to work with Miss Mariah in the inclusive dance program and has enjoyed dancing the roles of Mr. Smee in Peter Pan and the Rat Queen in the Nutcracker. After playing a mouse in Cinderella in her very first spring show at CBA, she is thrilled to come full circle as one of Cinderella’s stepsisters in this spring’s production.
Eleanor has been in PPS’s Mandarin immersion program since kindergarten and recently traveled to Taiwan for a capstone project. While at Cleveland High School she worked as a student leader with outdoor school, served as yearbook social media manager, and was the director of the school broadcast program.
She graduated from Cleveland High School as a valedictorian with a 4.3 GPA and a dual literacy certification. In the fall Eleanor will be attending St. Louis University, where she has been accepted into the combined accelerated Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy program along with plans to minor in Interprofessional Practice and Nutrition, Health and Wellness.
Eleanor would like to thank her family for their endless support throughout the years, from the hours of driving, volunteering and big hugs after long days. She would like to thank Miss Chloe for her kindness and supportive energy, Miss Susan for teaching her artistry, Miss Mariah for creating the best part of her week and teaching her patience and creativity, and her friends for sticking through it all and making CBA her second family. Finally Eleanor would like to thank Miss Sarah for not only teaching her to be a better dancer but to be the person she is today and giving Eleanor the chance to be part of the CBA family. Eleanor is grateful for all the time she has spent at CBA, and looks forward to coming back to see what CBA becomes.
CBA has been changed for the better by Eleanor. Her brilliant mind, focus on inclusivity, work ethic, beautiful dancing, positive attitude and humor, will all be deeply missed. We cannot wait to see what Eleanor will accomplish out in the world. Best wishes Eleanor!

SENIOR SUNDAY!
Juliana
Juliana has so much love for dance, and she is grateful that CBA has offered a place for her to grow her artistry. The CBA community is so beautiful, and she is forever thankful to be a part of it. Every teacher she has had throughout the years has pushed her to become the best dancer, and human, she can possibly be, and she truly would not be the person she is today without each and every one of them. Her friends are a big part of the reason CBA is so special to her, and every class, rehearsal, and show, they never fail to make her laugh and bring her so much joy.
This fall, she is excited to attend the University of Utah where she will further her interest in human biology and medicine, as well as minor in dance. She will truly miss CBA, but she is excited for this next chapter in her life.
She would like to thank her friends at CBA, Miss Sarah and all of the CBA teachers, Amy Benton (her PT) for making sure her body is at max performance, her honorary grandparents Michael and Lynn for supporting her and loving her like family, and everyone who has been a part of her journey thus far. Most of all, she would like to thank her mom, dad, and brother for their unconditional love and support. They are the light of her life, and she is so blessed to have them standing by her side through everything.
Lastly, one of her most favorite memories from CBA has been helping with the inclusive dance class. Every moment is so special in that class, and she is so grateful to have been a part of it for the past two years. She would like to thank Ms. Mariah for showing her how to be a supportive, compassionate, and resilient human being – not just in class but in day-to-day life as well. Dancing with Maisy and Jenna each week has given her so much joy, and their determination, excitement, and growth is so inspiring. She is excited for the future and what it might hold, and she is forever thankful for the experiences that CBA has brought her.
CBA will miss Juliana’s kindness, beautiful arabesques, the calm strength she brings to all those around her, and her warm spirit. Best wishes Juliana!
