🌈💖💛💙 Happy Pans*xual Pride Day! 🌟

Today, we honor and celebrate the beauty of pans*xuality, highlighting the unique experiences and identities of pan folks who make our LGBTQ+ community so vibrant and inclusive. 💕✨

What is pans*xuality?
Pans*xuality is a s*xual orientation where people are attracted to others regardless of gender identity or biological s*x. It’s about connection, not boundaries.

The term "pans*xual" entered mainstream use in the 1960s and 1970s, gaining recognition as a distinct identity by the 1990s. The Pans*xual Pride Flag, created around 2010, features:
💖 Pink for love toward femininity
💛 Yellow for nonbinary and gender-diverse identities
💙 Blue for love toward masculinity

Let’s continue building a world where everyone is seen, celebrated, and supported for who they truly are. 🌟

On Trans Day of Remembrance (TDOR), we honor lives lost to anti-trans violence. In a climate where trans rights are increasingly under attack, our commitment to accessible, affirming, and compassionate gender-affirming healthcare and support services is critical critical. The systemic issues fueling violence against our trans family—white supremacy, misogyny, racism, and xenophobia—remain prevalent. At CAP, we are committed to challenging those systemic issues, advocating for a better path forward, and ensuring we are at the forefront of advancing person-centered care that meets the needs of every individual in our community.

"Our dedication to compassionate, inclusive, and affirming care for all will persist. Just as it has for more than 40 years. Together, we will continue our efforts alongside our partners and supporters, advocating for a more just and equitable future. Our role is as critical as ever, and our collective strength as a community will guide us forward."

Following the results of the election, CAP CEO Paul Lumley shares a vision of resilience and unity in the face of adversity. Read his full message and join us in our mission to advance health equity and accessibility for all at https://www.capnw.org/news/2024-election-message.
